The Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, held talks, on April 4 in Rabat, with the French Minister Delegate in charge of Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness, Francophonie, and French Nationals Abroad, Franck Riester on ways to promote economic cooperation between Morocco and France.

On this occasion, Mezzour revealed that this meeting is part of a series of discussions aimed at analyzing the commercial process for Moroccan and French entrepreneurs and facilitating access for mutual or specific products from the two countries to European, African, and global markets.

In this regard, the minister emphasized the importance of reaching suitable solutions to improve Moroccan-French relations, recalling that Morocco and France have succeeded, in a complex global context, in attracting investors and developing interesting value chains, particularly in the field of mobility.

For his part, Riester stressed the need to develop deep partnerships between Morocco and France to respond to common challenges such as economic transition, decarbonization, mobility, and digital transition.

This meeting took place in the presence of France’s Ambassador to Morocco, Christophe Lecourtier, and several other senior officials from the two countries.
