A group of Russian innovators and entrepreneurs will be visiting Morocco on a strategic visit from December 12 to 14, under the direction of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), to promote successful partnerships and deepen economic relations between the two nations, especially in technological fields.

The agency’s board of directors, which is presided over by Russian President Vladimir Putin, strives to advance important initiatives and enhance the country’s business environment.

ASI is actively looking for ways to work with Moroccan partners, as it is composed of top businesses in the domains of artificial intelligence, health, energy efficiency, and education as well as information technology.

This December visit falls within a shared goal to encourage the sharing of ideas and expertise between both Morocco and Russia and also precedes the Arab-Russian summit which will be held in Marrakech on December 20.

The delegation intends to meet with Moroccan officials, business owners, and professionals connected to the Casablanca-Settat region’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services, the Association of Moroccan Exporters, and professional associations, among other Moroccan stakeholders.

The topics of discussion at these meetings will include possible collaboration, investment, and partnership prospects in information technology, AI, and digitalization-related initiatives.

ASI considers itself an agent of change, helping create opportunities for ambitious leaders.

Moscow and Rabat have remained close despite the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, with Morocco’s attendance at the recent Russian-African conference further emphasizing their close relationship.
